Tony Enright, PhD

Dr Tony Enright is a civil engineer specialising in fire engineering. He is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a Fellow of Engineering New Zealand, a member of Engineers Australia Victoria Division Committee and a Member of the Building Regulations Advisory Committee (Vic). Tony is a former Member of the Building Appeals Board (Vic). 

  

Tony He has 30 years professional experience and has delivered major projects across the building and advisory sectors; most notably as lead fire engineer for the A$2.3 billion Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Tony was an early identifier of the fire hazard posed by combustible cladding and has appeared as an Expert Witness in dozens of cladding proceedings including the high-profile matter of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Tony has won several academic and project-based awards. He has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and has represented national standards bodies on ISO Technical Committees.
