Dr Enright was involved in three phases of external cladding audits in Victoria:

• Throughout 2015 and 2016 he assisted the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) in the first round of external cladding audits. These audits were undertaken in response to the Lacrosse Apartments fire of 2014. They focussed on high-risk buildings in the Melbourne central business district.

• From January 2018 to October 2018 he was an Advisory Reference Panel (ARP) member for the VBA’s state-wide cladding audit of privately-owned buildings.

• From July 2019 to March 2022 he was an ARP member for Cladding Safety Victoria’s (CSV’s) state-wide cladding audit of government-owned buildings.
