Tony’s role: expert witness for DesignInc Melbourne Pty Ltd (one of the two architects), engaged and instructed by Barry Nilsson.
Description: The building contains five basement carparking levels with nine storeys above ground. The combustible cladding comprised aluminium composite panels (ACP).
Tony was instructed to provide an opinion on the conduct of the fire engineer involved in the base-building design. He issued an expert report in December 2018. The matter is assumed to have settled.
