Tony’s role: expert for Hume City Council, briefed by Weir Legal & Consulting.
Description: The building is a waste and resource recovery centre. Its use includes the processing and storage of plastics. The MBS issued a Building Order relating to the rectification of serious defects in the fire-related Essential Safety Measures (ESMs) at the building.
Tony provided an expert report in October 2024 detailing the status of the ESMs and providing an opinion on the rectification works proposed by the building’s owner and tenant in response to the Building Order.
